the bible says: “Where there is no vision, the people cast off restrain.” (Prov. 29:18)
I was born and raised in Madagascar, and something new was born in me when I was 22 years old, and my family sent me to a very rural village not far away from the capital city of Madagascar. This village had limited electricity and water like most places in Madagascar, one of the poorest countries in the world where 90 percent of the population live on less than 2 dollars a day. My mission at that time was to make mud bricks with the local people for building a school for the children of the village, since many of them had to walk at least an hour to get to the nearest poor school. Sadly, after making thousands and thousands of bricks, the school never did get built because of a lack of funds. A year later the Lord sent me to China to study Chinese. The time I have spent in China has been used by the Lord to prepare me for the tasks that God would have me do for my people. While here, I have learned to speak English as well as Chinese. After my graduation, the Lord opened doors for me to stay in China, providing me with a stable job teaching English to Chinese kindergarteners. I did that job for three years, and then the Lord gave me an opportunity to teach in an institution of higher learning, so I began teaching college students Oral English, the language I had to learn when I first came to China – now I teach it! My experience in learning and teaching has improved a lot over the last 6 years that I have stayed in China, and the Father has given me a great will to bring it back to my beautiful Island.
The Lord has also blessed me by giving me chances to meet wonderful people who have shared the same aim of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One such man is Dr. Hau Ling Pang, the General Director of the School for Christ Foundation in Hong Kong, who has helped guide me through faithful prayer, and materials he provided for making an outline of my journey once I return to Madagascar to start the building of these Christ-centered schools. I still have this great conviction that God is asking me to go back to that village where I made bricks and set that school up for the children waiting there. For this reason, I started this website to invite you to join us in establishing that first school as a starting point in this great journey that we can walk together through the strengthening of the Holy Spirit, building quality churches and quality schools all through Madagascar.
